Sex Magic League - Playable DEMO!

It may take a while to download, just be patient! This is a condensed version of the game. Certain features have been stripped but the core gameplay is available to test.

    But allow me one question. How do you discard cards if you get a hand full of yellow cards and can only play green or position cards?

    1. I initially had a way to discard cards at the cost of energy but removed that feature in this build. It currently is, by design, actually possible to deadlock your hand and consequentially lose the match! However, I think you may have misinterpreted how the yellow and green cards function.

      I will go ahead and add some more info to the SML page that will hopefully clarify the gameplay a little better:

  2. I played to about 10 wins and I'm liking this a ton. I like that there are more styles of decks than just combo-ing cards together.

    UI wise, position cards being played on the left pile confused me the first time. I tried to play the card in the center but got the same sound as though I couldn't play it at all. You've probably got bigger priorities than this though.

    Balance wise:
    It seems like getting locked out of the positions where your cards function is very punishing. Since you and your opponent often have entirely different positions where your cards function, your opponent winning this battle means that you're stuck with a hand full of dead cards. Thus games can be decided by who draws more position-changing cards. Perhaps this is only a problem because I can't use custom decks yet.

    1. Glad you're enjoying the game, and thanks for the feedback! The game is still just a prototype right now, so I will hopefully be improving the UI as time goes on. I also would like to eventually add some sort of tutorial to help new players get started, as soon as I can find the time.

      I'm not 100% happy with the way positions currently work and I still haven't added the "spell" cards yet, so there will likely be some changes to alleviate the hand deadlock in the next build.
